    Terms & Conditions

    The terms that govern your use of AK Global Trading's sourcing, procurement, and logistics services.

    Last updated: 20 October 2026

    Welcome to AK Global Trading ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, and the sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, and consulting services we provide. By requesting a quote, engaging our services, or otherwise doing business with us, you ("you", "your", or "Client") agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or engage our services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

    2. Definitions

    In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

    • "Services" means the sourcing, procurement, import and export, freight and logistics, quality inspection, and supply chain consulting services we offer;
    • "Products" means the goods we source, procure, or supply on your behalf;
    • "Suppliers" means the manufacturers, factories, and vendors we engage to fulfil your requirements;
    • "Quote" means a written or electronic price proposal we provide for specified Products or Services;
    • "Order" means a confirmed purchase instruction issued by you and accepted by us.

    3. Our Services

    We act as an independent sourcing and procurement agent, connecting you with verified global suppliers and coordinating the movement of Products from origin to destination. Our Services include product sourcing, supplier verification, price negotiation, quality inspection, freight coordination, customs documentation support, and related supply chain consulting.

    We act on a best-efforts basis as your agent and facilitator. We do not manufacture Products, and we are not the manufacturer or owner of the goods we source on your behalf, except where we expressly agree to act as principal in a written contract.

    4. Quotes and Pricing

    All Quotes are estimates provided in good faith based on information available at the time, including supplier pricing, exchange rates, freight rates, and applicable duties. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and, where no period is stated, for 30 days from the date of issue.

    Prices may change due to fluctuations in raw material costs, currency exchange rates, freight rates, supplier pricing, government duties, or changes to your specifications. We will notify you of any material change before accepting an Order. Quotes do not include taxes, duties, or customs charges unless expressly stated.

    5. Orders and Payment

    An Order is binding only when accepted by us in writing. You are responsible for ensuring that all specifications, quantities, and delivery details provided in an Order are accurate. Once accepted, Orders may be subject to change or cancellation fees if they have already been placed with a Supplier.

    • Payment terms are as set out in each Quote or invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing;
    • Unless stated otherwise, a deposit may be required to commence sourcing and to place an Order with a Supplier;
    • Late payments may incur interest charges and may suspend or delay the provision of Services;
    • All payments are to be made in the currency and to the account specified on our invoice.

    6. Delivery and Logistics

    Delivery timeframes are estimates based on information provided by Suppliers and freight providers and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by Suppliers, carriers, customs authorities, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

    Risk in Products passes to you in accordance with the agreed Incoterms. Title transfers as set out in the relevant contract or, if not specified, upon full payment. You are responsible for any storage charges arising from delays on your side.

    7. Quality and Inspections

    We conduct quality inspections on a best-efforts basis in accordance with specifications you provide. Inspections reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of defects. We are not the manufacturer and cannot guarantee that every unit meets specification. You should notify us in writing of any defect within the claim period stated in your Order or, if none is stated, within 7 days of receipt.

    Remedies for defective Products are subject to the relevant Supplier's warranty and return policy, which we will pursue on your behalf where possible. We are not liable for defects attributable to the Supplier's manufacturing or to your specifications.

    8. Sourcing Tours

    Where you engage us to arrange a customised sourcing tour, we coordinate airport pick-up, ground transport, factory visits, on-site translation, and assistance with negotiation. Tour itineraries are proposed in good faith and may be adjusted due to supplier availability, travel conditions, or events beyond our control.

    • You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, visas, and any required vaccinations;
    • Travel and accommodation arrangements are made on your behalf and are subject to the terms of the relevant carriers and providers;
    • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines, hotels, ground operators, or border authorities;
    • You are responsible for your own conduct and safety during a tour, and for any costs you incur personally.

    9. Intellectual Property

    All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and designs, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our prior written permission, except as necessary to use our Services.

    Where we assist with OEM or ODM customisation, you warrant that any branding, designs, or specifications you provide do not infringe the rights of any third party, and you indemnify us against any claim arising from such infringement.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the fees paid to us for the specific Services giving rise to the claim, or to the amount covered by our professional indemnity insurance, whichever is lesser. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.

    11. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your breach of these Terms, your inaccurate specifications or instructions, or any third-party claim that materials you provided to us infringe another party's rights.

    12. Force Majeure

    We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government action, labour disputes, supplier failures, transport disruptions, or failures of utilities or telecommunications. Where a force majeure event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to mitigate its impact and resume performance as soon as practicable.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, and we may take proceedings in any other competent jurisdiction.

    14. Dispute Resolution

    If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms or the Services, the parties will first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it may be submitted to mediation administered by a recognised dispute resolution body before either party commences court proceedings, except where urgent injunctive relief is sought.

    15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
